Good Morning!

Getting ready for my morning run, but wanted to share my mom’s beautiful pond with you.  It’s a magical little place, filled with wonder, beauty… and mass destruction.

I Prefer A Pink Tuesday

(Happy Birthday to my very first grand child Arya Kira today.  So to celebrate today I’m showing my favorite Arya Kira posts.  Originally posted 8/6/2014.  Enjoy!)

I had a very Pink Tuesday, thank you.  I hadn’t seen my best buddy in a week and one whole day.  I think that’s way past the longest we’ve gone without each other. Her mommy has had a busy schedule, and I’m glad for that, cause they need to conquer the world.  But I was jonesing for my pink sidekick, and I got a great fix today. A Burst of Sporadic Genius in a Non-Nobel Prize Winning Area

Every IMG_4023now and again I have these bursts of sporadic organizational genius. Finally, something I’d hit static before for years when trying to solve –tonight– suddenly became amazingly clear.  Yes, this happened to me tonight.  I am here to share with you a secret that has plagued me since I had to be a woman and deal with it.  It has urked, angered and frustrated me.  But I knew one day, I’d get it… today was that day.

Geeking out on Saturday night

There’s something to be said for Karma. I’m pretty broke, but one day not long ago a good friend gave me this digital TV. It’s my very first.

I must say as a typical 70’s TV kid it’s a brain disconnect moment connecting a tv to a computer.

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! Someone once said to me.. “after the 4th of July, its like summer is over”.…IDTS! I hate that phrase, because HELLO still 2 months left! To me, Its just begun, and I must say during the first month and a half, I’ve spent more time with friends and grandbaby doing so many fun, social and crazy things I’d of had a jam packed summer if it was over now. (Thank God its not!) I am so grateful and blessed to have these people… but there have been other things,  missing my love, family ill, being a rock for my friends when I feel like sand… weighing me down still and keeping me in bad habits and not running… and I have a marathon to train for. (10/12/14, let the countdown begin)

Exercise, overstimulation and a birthday card for mom.

It was a double header in the exercise department today  as Max and I ran (almost 9 miles, for a total of 26 so far for the week) this morning, and this evening I then I finally went back to my Zumba class!
